Our Story

The Two Roses Foundation

Two little angels, Indie Rose and Isabelle Rose passed away to cancer last year. We fund raised for them so they would not lose their homes while they were taken care of. We have since decided to help other families that have children with cancer and that live in regional areas, for accommodation, fuel cards, parking, food etc.

The charity is called “The Two Roses Foundation” as both girls middle names were “Rose.”

Isabelle-rose   Isabelle Rose

Isabelle Rose was diagnosed with infant leukemia at 4 weeks old, after a brave fight she sadly grew her angel wings on 26/3/2014 at 7 months old.

Indie-rose   Indie Rose

In August 2011 Indie was diagnosed with Infant Acute Lympoblastic Leukaemia. Indie responded very well to treatment and declared in remission quite early.

After 8 months in Westmead Childrens hospital receiving chemo we were allowed to return home to Canberra and be on maintenance (oral chemo). With only 6 months left of maintenance Indie was admitted to hospital with a fever.
